The robbery is said to have taken place at 12:00pm in Rawlins Village, Gingerland.
Police have shared that their initial investigations have revealed that the drivers of a C & C Sales and Delivery truck were approached by armed men who demanded money. However, first reports from the police have not disclosed the amount of money that was taken.
Some observers are of the view that the bandits may have studied the delivery schedule and habits of the drivers who are known to make regular sales calls to various business clients in Gingerland and other areas of Nevis.
C&C is a St. Kitts based retail and wholesale enterprise, located at the Paul Southwell Industrial Park, in Basseterre.
As the police investigations continue, investigators have issued a call for any assistance that is possible from members of the public, who may have seen or heard of any activity related to the incident.
