Hanley, who just a few weeks ago guided his Rams Energizer Hitters team to an unprecedented 19th title in the Premier Divison championships explained to MiyVue.com that there are several reasons for him contending the presidency, but remained tight lipped about the details.
“However that I would be willing to assist in any way possible once I am required to do so,” Hanley said, adding that there are more persons available who are capable to assume his position.
“Barman”, as commonly referred to has been involved in the management of SKABA since 1982. He has been elected president on several occasions, with the past two and a half years being his last.
Hanley further added that he will continue his successful run as Coach of the champion Rams Energizer Hitters.
Elections for SKABA are expected to be held at the Annual general meeting to be held in January 2011.
