It was a huge year for Oprah.  Though her network got off to a slow start, she did end 25 years of her legendary talk show that turned many authors, inventors and ordinary people into millionaires and celebrities.

Putting phrases and words like “A Ha Moment,” “walking in your truth,” and “emotional integrity” into the everyday lexicon, she’s helped shaped the way we live, think and speak.

Not bad for a little black girl from Mississippi.  In the words of Maya Angelou from the last “Oprah” show….

“Oprah….loving….giving….caring. Oprah! Oprah! Oprah!”
