Basseterre, 19th November, 2020, (MyVue News.com)- With most of the 2019-2020 cruise tourism business wiped out for St. Kitts & Nevis, and still no firm indication about 2021, at least one major player has factored Port Zante, the main port in St. Kitts, in its plans for 2022.
While giving notice of its 2022 program, Royal Caribbean has revealed that its ship, The Harmony, is expected to include St. Kitts & Nevis in its sailings.
In making the announcement, Royal Caribbean said its three Oasis-class ships – Symphony, Harmony and Oasis of the Seas – will sail from Florida and the Northeast in 2022, plus the Liberty, Explorer and amplified Mariner of the Seas, on Caribbean itineraries.
In a press release that became available on Wednesday, 18th November, 2020, Royal Caribbean indicated that its 2022 summer Caribbean cruises open for sale on Wednesday, for itineraries five nights or longer.
The cruise line said it will announce its remaining Caribbean summer 2022 deployment early next year, according to an article in Cruise Industry News.
The Symphony and Harmony of the Seas will sail Eastern and Western Caribbean seven-night itineraries from Miami and Port Canaveral, respectively, said the article in Cruise Industry News. According to Cruise Industry News, in 2022, Symphony will double the number of Eastern Caribbean sailings and tout evening stays in Puerto Rico on select cruises throughout the summer. However, the Harmony will visit St. Thomas, St. Kitts & Nevis, and Falmouth, Jamaica, as well as Perfect Day at CocoCay.
