Mr. McCook was said to be a friend and supporter of the SKNAAA while he served as the President of the NACAC.

A statement from the SKNAAA said General Secretary, Mr Keith Heyliger will represent the association and the SKNOC at Sunday’s Memorial Service of Mr Neville ‘Teddy’ Mc Cook.

“Teddy as he was affectionately known to us was a staunch advocate for youth and grass root Athletics. He was always willing to assist small Athletics Federations like ours in not only developing our athletes but also in us hosting regional and sub-regional competitions,” said the SKNAAA.

“Indeed, Teddy’s number of years of stewardship is a true testament of his lifelong passion for the sport of Athletics. His enthusiasm will surely be missed but his legacy will go on forever,“ continued the SKNAAA.
