That confidence was expressed by the Judge during a recent Christmas Luncheon hosted for the rank and file of the law enforcement agency.
Thomas told the police and the audience in attendance, including the country’s Prime Minister, magistrates, and officials from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution, that “You have an opportunity with a small force to make the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force one of the better forces in the Caribbean and you are on the road to doing that.”
He commended the police officers for the serious work conducted in recent cases which led to the arrest and conviction by a jury of crimes committed by persons.
Judge Thomas urged the police officers to continue the good work that they have been doing over the years. He encouraged them to continue to take their responsibility seriously.
