Homegrown as it is affectionately dubbed is a 2-day national music, food and arts festival under the theme “Two Days of Music to Change our Views”.
The show in its third (3rd) staging is slated for September 16th to 17th, 2011 at the Verchilds Playing Field.
Through the use of the universal language of music the organisers hope to unify the people of the nation, in an effort to promote the local music industry.
In order to execute a productive and well orchestrated event, the local artiste are being urged to come on board as performer on this important cultural extravaganza.
Some of the acts expected to perform include Nu Vybes, Green House, Royalties, Infamus, Masud, Footsy, Jah Fire, Anastasia, Minister LK, Dagah, King Konris, King Pumwa, Ayatolah and organiser Crucial Bankie himself.
The show promises to be an infusion of music and cultural arts with a spirit of nationalism that will promote creativity among those in attendance according to organizers.
