In an exclusive interview with MiyVue.com, owner of the company, Alice Plichta and Administrator Geisha Rodriguez, explained that the business was opened in December in the heart of carnival season and specialises in bar-b-que, but offers a wide variety of food.

When asked about what their vision was for the establishment, the operators stated that their vision for the company is geared towards having the restaurant function at the highest standards and delivering acceptable levels of service, becoming a place where residents can enjoy themselves.

Ms. Plitchta went on to say that the Kittitians have accepted the business very well, and there are several regular clients who make it their weekly Friday afternoon hang out, unwinding after a long business week.

The menu at the establishment includes fish, chicken, pork and shrimp, fried and bar-b-que fish.

The restaurant also offers a breakfast menu where one can select from various sandwiches, omelettes and other items.

They are also available, said the operators to provide customers with the option to have their meals delivered.

Opening hours for the ‘House of Bar-B-Que’ are 8:00am-6:00pm on Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 9:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

The new eatery has so far provided direct employment to seven persons.
