Both interviews, along with a number of other media appearances, were designed to help build the confidence levels of the contestants and to give them an opportunity to get the feel of what it would be like, on the night of the competition, performing under the scrutiny of thousands, at the( Sugar Mill) Carnival City.
Though no points will be carried forward from the media interviews, the winners for both events will no doubt have a greater sense of confidence heading into the main competition. The radio interview was narrowly won by Rolhensha Henry, by a half a point, amassing some 144.5 points, slightly ahead of Iantavian Queeley’s 144 points. In third position was Micheleina Charles-Hazelle with 142 points.
