IDB looking for most innovative startups in the region

As part of the two-day conference which begins on September 29 in Washington, D.C, selected startups will have access to a series of events, workshops, inspirational lectures and networking opportunities.

Additionally, over the course of two days, the startups will work with the Fly Garage model, an innovation incubator developed by Mondelez Internacional to be part of a social, collaborative and creative experiment for startups.

Applicants interested in participating in Demand Solutions must be between the ages of 18 and 35 and be founders or co-founders of startups that have been operational for at least six months up to three years.

The startups should be fostering innovations in cities in areas such as: Alternative Energy, Transportation and Logistics, Housing, Urban Farming and Gastronomy, Education, Big Data, Creative Industries, Art and Design, and Citizen Security.

Applications will be accepted up to July 1. Applicants must submit a video introducing themselves and explaining why they think their startup should be picked in two minutes or less.
