The first incident which took place on Sunday 13th October, 2013, left one person having to be taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The police have indicated that their initial investigations reveal that a group of young men were gathered in Cayon when they were attacked by two (2) armed assailants.
While the police in St. Kitts are stepping up their efforts to get to the bottom of the Cayon incident their counterparts in Cotton Ground Nevis have also been dealing with another shooting case after officers there responded to the incident which occurred along the Island’s Main Road at Cades Bay, Nevis at about 6:50 pm on Monday 14th October, 2013.
One person was also hospitalized in that incident.
Initial investigations there revealed that Roy Wilkenson of Shadwell was attacked by two (2) masked armed assailants while riding his motor cycle.
The authorities have been appealing to anyone who has any information, pertaining to this incident, to call the Violent Crimes Unit, VCU at 662-9336, or the nearest police station, or, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.
