Jamaica: Burnt body may be that of missing Trinidadian woman

“We cannot call it off unless we have a positive identification.” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Glenmore Hinds. “A body was found suspected to be that of a woman. We cannot say it is her yet because there is no positive identification.”

But there are fears that the body is that of Michelle Coudray-Greaves, the daughter of Marlene Coudray, the Mayor of the San Fernando in southern Trinidad and deputy political leader of the United National Congress (UNC) one of the five parties in the coalition government in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Mayor is due in Jamaica later on Tuesday.
