Jennifer Lopez, It Was Too Soon To Talk About Your Failed Marriage!

You know how they say a lady should never kiss and tell? Well, you shouldn’t marry and tell either. Jennifer Lopez graces the September issue of Vanity Fair and reveals intimate details regarding her breakup with her husband of seven years Marc Anthony. Regardless of why they broke up, Marc is the father of her two children and she shouldn’t have uttered a word about him

Even if the reports of Marc being too controlling were true, and even if walking away from the father of her two twins Emme and Max was the right decision — J.Lo should have NEVER talked about the ending of their marriage

You may be thinking ‘what’s the big deal’? I’ll tell you my issue with this portion of the interview. When Vanity Fair‘s contributing editor Lisa Robinson called J.Lo up while she was in Atlanta shooting What To Expect When You’re Expecting, Jennifer should have courteously declined to comment.

But instead, J.Lo began firing off quotes about how she’s open to falling in love again and that now is the first time she’s “truly loving” herself.

Does Jennifer really want to stir the pot? This is an interview that her children will read one day. She and Marc were married for seven years and have known each other even longer than that and this is betrayal in my opinion. Despite their differences, they still have to work together on their upcoming show television show Q’Viva — does she not think these quotes will upset Marc?

Not to mention, Jennifer and Marc announced their split on July 15, just seven days before Jennifer gave these quotes to VF. A little soon to be talking about moving on don’t you think?

For Jennifer to say things like “For the first time in my life, I can truly say I am loving myself, I am doing loving things for myself,” it’s as if she doesn’t have any respect for the sanctity of marriage.

But I guess this is where I point out this is Jennifer’s third marriage.

Jennifer even made sure to add that she’s open to finding love again. For a couple that remained so private for the seven years they were married, this is all oddly candid.

Furthermore, Jennifer reportedly demanded $20 million from Fox to host another season of American Idol. It’s obvious how she’s handling her life these days — she’s only looking out for herself.
