Joint central bank quarrel escalates between Curacao and St Maarten

Curacao Minister of Finance, George Jamaloodin has threatened to file a complaint against some members of the Supervisory Board because they would have received instructions from the government of Sarah Wescot-Williams, prime minister of St Maarten. That is not allowed according to the statutes of the Central Bank.

The warning issued by Jamaloodin was not only directed against the members of the Supervisory Board, but also against the directors of the CBCS, the country of St Maarten and the government of Wescot-Williams.
