Key Stakeholders to be Involved in Public Service Consultations

 

According to a press release, the first consultation began on 11th January, 2011, with Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Departments and other top level civil service employees and revealed the intention of the Human Resources Department to keep employees in turn with their working environment.

Another aspect of the consultations is to ensure the proper development of the Public Service as a professional, merit based and accountable instrument for promoting good governance and better delivery of services.

The next in the series of consultations was to have taken place on Thursday, 13th January, 2011 with Executive Officers, Administrative Officers and Senior Clerks at the NEMA building in Lime Kiln.

Upcoming events include a meeting of junior clerks, messengers and office attendants on January 18, Teachers on January 20 and Government Auxillary Workers on January 25 to 27.
