At the end of a keen contest the representative from Constituency #4, Miss Khawne Wharton, was adjudged winner and crowned the 2012 Miss Labour.
She managed to push back challenges from seven other contestants from each of the Constituencies on St. Kitts.
Her First Runner-up was Kaylie Greaux from constiuency#8; Second Runner -up Sheniqua Powell from constituency #1 and Third Runner Up- Michelle Henry of Constituency #3.
The new queen also secured the Best Talent and Best Evening Wear prizes. Kaylie Greaux from constituency #8 took honours for the Best Creative and Best Speech segments.
The pageant was hosted as part of the major activities organized by the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party for the annual Labour Day celebrations.
The next event of significance will be on Monday 7th May, when members of the Trades & Labour Movement and the Labour Party engage in their March through the streets of Basseterre.
