Francis was honoured in New York, during the celebration of Women’s History Month, by the Negro Business Women of America.
Ms. Francis was born in the village of St. Paul’s, but now resides in the United States where she works in the media, in both television and radio.
In some circles in New York, especially amongst the West Indian community, Francis is known as the Caribbean Queen of Talk Radio in New York. She hosts programmes on WVIP 93.5 every Monday at 9:00pm and Bronx net Cable TV at 10:00pm.
Douglas told Francis, that her countrymen are all proud of her for her achievement.
