Kittitian Receives Award for Work in USA

 Mr. Larry Quinlan, who is originally from St. Kitts, received an award which was presented on behalf of the Institute of Caribbean Studies by St. Kitts and Nevis’ Ambassador to the United States, Jacinth Henry Martin, a former classmate and friend of Mr. Quinlan. 

The ambassador congratulated Quinlan for his outstanding contribution to corporate America and for the significant strides he has made as one of the Principals in Deloitte LLP; one of the world’s largest professional service firms with 170,000 employees in over 140. 

Mr. Quinlan has been with Deloitte since 1988 and has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Global Chief Information Officer for Deloitte Consulting LLP and National Managing Principal for Process Excellence.  Larry holds an MBA from Baruch College, City University of New York, and in 2005 was listed by Black MBA Magazine as one of top 50 Black MBAs less than 50 years of age.”

It is reported that major U.S. publications including the Wall Street Journal and Information Week have quoted Quinlan and he and has also been honoured by several US based institutions and publications.

Larry is the son of Mr.  & Mrs. Joseph Quinlan of Conaree; one of four sons who have all achieved success in their individual spheres, and to whom he expressed his appreciation for the role they played as family in shaping his life.
