Why we can’t speak for R.Pattz, who has understandably shown no signs of speaking for himself since the bombshell news broke yesterday afternoon, his current state remains questionable.

It also remains to be seen whether Kristen will welcome the rather odd public show of support from Gaga—the young star has more pressing things on her mind at the moment.

Earlier today, the 22-year-oldTwilight heroine released a public apology to her 26-year-old costar, declaring herself “deeply sorry” for her caught-on-tape dalliance. Of Rob, she said, “I love him, I love him, I’m sorry.”

Time will tell if he offers her forgiveness. Meantime, at least she’s got one famous shoulder to cry on.
