The spotlight on this subject will again be illuminated when discussions are held here later this month, on the topic, “compensation of the black race for enslavement”. Members of the public have been invited to participate in this discourse.
It will be the third in the UNESCO Slave Route Project Lecture Series and it takes place on Tuesday, 28th February at 7:00pm. at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
The Lecture will be presented by Michael Lorne, a Jamaican Lawyer, who persists in the demand for compensation from Britain on behalf of the descendents of slaves through the court system.
Students, teachers, researchers and the public in general are being invited to attend and receive details about Reparation, including updates on legal procedures.
