The tributes are also still streaming in, with the latest coming in the form of a concert on Sunday night, dedicated to Sadiki’s memory.
The special concert was hosted by the Green Valley Festival at the Sandbox in Cayon, featuring some of the top local acts from St. Kitts and Nevis. The headline artistes included Masud’s recently established group, the Limitless band.
Other performances came from Rohlensha, Shakal and Fire, Dj Rinch, Nicha-B and Infamus who all paid tribute in music to Masud.
As the artistes pelted out some of the more popular songs from Masud, fans in the audience could not help themselves singing along, almost word for word.
The evening also saw a video tribute, highlighting his appearances as a host on the local St. Kitts Visitor Channel.
The concert was however dominated by the Kittitian reggae superstar Infamus who brought the house down with his popular tunes, sending the crowd into raptures.
The concert was hosted by Sweet Sister Sensia and concluded shortly before 3:00 am with some audience members heading home only to return shortly for the j’ouvert morning jam session.
