Basseterre, St. Kitts, 20th July 18, 2018 (MyVueNews.com) – The name of the district was never intended to be an indication of possible crime and violence but sadly, over the years, the People of Mad House Alley in East Basseterre, St. Kitts, have had to deal with countless shootings and other acts of illegal activity.
The latest of such incidents rocked the area on Wednesday, 18th July, 2018, when a lone gun man went on a shooting spree.
However, his target seemed to have been planned, because initial reports suggest that he deliberately approached a group of persons then opened fire.
When the dust settled, it was discovered that one person, known in the community as “Utee” was shot in the leg. Utee, whose real name is said to be Utendale White, is believe to be a resident of St. Johnson Village, in West Basseterre.
While White is continuing to recover from his injuries, the others in the groups are counting their blessings as they try to overcome the emotional scars and trauma of the shooting experience.
The incident is believed to have taken place sometime around 9:30 in the evening of Thursday, 19th July.
