Included in the list of those with court convictions was Gavin Whyte of Lime Kilm who was convicted and sentenced to one (1) month imprisonment at Basseterre Magistrate Court for Possession of Cannabis. Separately, he was also convicted and sentenced to one (1) month imprisonment for Disorderly Conduct which was committed on 6th March 2012 at Springfield Cemetery during a burial Service.
Whyte was also convicted and sentenced to two (2) months imprisonment for Throwing Missiles which was committed on 6 March 2012. These sentencing are to run concurrently, and both sentences to run consecutively with a one (1) month sentence he is presently serving.
Meanwhile, Kelroy Hazel and Jahari Bart of St Johnson Village who were indicted for murder at the St. Christopher Circuit Court , had their case traversed to September 2012 Criminal Assizes.
The law enforcement agency also indicated that Leon Gumbs of Morning Star, Nevis was arrested and charged with Driving without Insurance, Driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without proper license.
Alex French of Saddlers was arrested and charged for the offence of making use of threatening language, while Clifford Richards of Phillip Village was arrested and formally charged for Driving under the influence of alcohol committed on 15th July 2012 at Molineux.
