Though the details are still somewhat sketchy, what MiyVue.com has learnt is that both gentlemen were drinking in a bar in the western village of Old Road, when the incident occurred.

A police report indicated that the “Two drinking companions got into an argument in a bar in Old Road that led to one striking the other with a piece of pipe in his head.”

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to the injury, said a police release.

Police have also confirmed that the suspect is in their custody, in what they are calling a tragic incident.
