MiyVue.com was informed that a shooting had taken place, just after 10:00am and according to unconfirmed reports, the victim of the incident is nicknamed ‘Chalice’.

The report indicates that the man is from the Saddlers area and was in St. Pauls doing some painting when he was approached by and individual and shot.

Contact with Public Relations Officer to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Inspector Vaughan Henderson, revealed that investigations are being made into the incident and the injured individual was transported to the hospital via ambulance, although as to which medical institution he was being taken to, is yet unclear.

Inspector Henderson indicated that he was making inquiries into the incident and a further report would be forthcoming.
