The former champions came on to the field with “blazing guns” and struck in the 8th minute but some sloppy defending and poor attacking plays gave the advantage to Mantab to win the game 2-1.
Edeem Huggins struck twice in the 45th & 59th minute to secure the victory for Manab while Josh Leader was the lone scorer for S.L.Horsford St. Pauls.
In the other game played on Sunday 28th November, St. Thomas Trinity/Strikers defeated UDC Garden Hotspurs 2- 1.
Scorers for St. Thomas Trinity Strikers were, Kendale Liburd 48th minute and Javan Huggins 70th minute. Tishan Hanley scored in the 45th minute for UDC Garden Hotspurs.
Alfred Kelly, manager of UDC Garden Hotspurs was expelled from the bench in the 26th minute of the game.
Meanwhile on Saturday 27th November, St. Peters gained a 1 goal victory over KFC Trinity/Challengers.
At half time the game was locked 1 – 1 but goals from Dionese Steven in the 77th minute and Kimaree Armstrong in the 88th sealed a 3-2 win for UDC Garden Hotspurs.
Scorers for KFC Trinity Challengers were Tevorn James 28th minute and Hazon Marsham (Penalty) 47th minute.
On another note Rams Village Superstars had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Coury’s Gatorade Conaree. Steven Clarke scored in the 32nd minute for Ram Village Superstars and Imron Ponteen in the 44th minute for Coury’s Gatorade Conaree.
That game also saw Elvis Morton an official of the Ram Village Superstars expelled from the bench in the 34th minute.
