It was a keenly contested pageant, where she edged out her closest competitor by only 4 points.
Nisbett won four out of the 6 segments which included Carib Black and Yellow Wear, Creative Wear, Cane Juice Identical swim wear and the Body Painting Wear.
Closely trailing Nisbett in First Runner up was Sidamo Jones who walked away with Vintage Wear and the Interview segments. She amassed a total of 1,109.5 points, while second runner up went to Anita Sullivan with 976 pts.
Those who contested for the title this year were Anita Sullivan, Shenelle Isaac, Jascur Hobson, Masinda Nisbett and Sidamo Jones. The 2011 winner was Ms. Roslyn Berkeley.
The contest is a key feature of the annual Sandy Point community festival Black San’ Bang-a-Lang.
The main criteria by which the show was judged included Physical Fitness, Poise and Carriage, Segment, Selection, Fit and Personality.
Trophies of participation were presented by Shawn Richards, the Parliamentary Representative, for Sandy Point. In addition, contestants received gift bags and were also sashed by Richards and crowned by Darien Belle Representative from LIME.
The Black San’ Festival is expected to continue on Monday with a Jouvert.
