Masud-An Epitome of Positivity and Goodwill-Says Condor

In a recent tribute to the singer, the Deputy Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Sam Condor praised Sadiki for being an advocate for the fight against violence against women.

Condor in a message on Tuesday remembered the contributions of the late Kevin “Masud Sadiki” Donovan among which was his work as an activist against issues that negatively affected women.

“I am deeply sadden to hear of the sudden passing of Kevin Donavon Alias Masud Sadiki, a local musician entrepreneur and model artiste who used his creative genius, celebrity and powerful platform to advocate for the United Nations and UNIFEM’s Unite To End Violence Against Women Campaign.

Condor added that as an individual, Masud Sadiki was an epitome of positivity and goodwill and a lyricist who championed this cause with passion.

He also said that Masud’s music will leave an indelible mark on society and will be severely missed and thoughts and praise should be given to the family.

“Masud was not only a musical icon he was also a father a husband and a son and I take this opportunity to convey sincere condolences to the entire family. It is my hope that they will find comfort in knowing that they are not alone and that multitudes are praying for them at this tragic time. It is with a sense of hope nonetheless that we say so long to Masud because his lyrics with their powerful message of respect for women will resonate with all of us for a long time,” expressed the Deputy Prime Minister.
