The teen singer/actress, daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is set to marry her boyfriend, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.

Hemsworth, 22, and the star of the “Hunger Games,” proposed to his girlfriend of three years, on May 31, People reports. Cyrus, 19, and Hemsworth met when they co-starred in the movie “The Last Song” in 2009.

The actor proposed with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane, People reports. A People magazine editor who appeared on the “Today” show said the ring has a “vintage, retro-glam look.”

“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus told People.

In March, Cyrus tweeted a photo of her left hand, wearing what looked like an engagement ring. That photo appeared as Hemsworth was about to premiere “Hunger Games,” based on the hit book series by Suzanne Collins. Cyrus later dismissed rumors that it was an engagement ring.

A wedding date has not been set yet, according to the report on the “Today” show.
