Miss Back 2 Roots Contestant #4 Zemone Morton

As a firm believer in the importance of having hobbies; in her leisure time she enjoys playing netball, playing steel pan and surfing the internet. She is also a Peer Counselor of the group HELP, where she graduated in 2005 earning numerous experiences with teens across the country.  Her academic qualifications, personality and experience as a leader makes her well poised to be a successful advocate of goal setting with the youths.

She says, “In order to achieve goals one has to motivate oneself and will need strength in one’s life through God, family and friends. Having strength will make you persistent, focused and willing to carry on, despite any obstacles. In this world, regardless of our environmental influences, we must develop a positive approach to well defined goals and determination to apply ourselves to achieve those goals. Her role model is her mother Jacqueline Morton, Miss Fatisha Imo and Miss Eusha Johnson (whom both have been excelled in pageantry).

As a representative of the country Sierra Leone she has learnt that in the field of history, Sierra Leone is a country of freedom, TRUE FREEDOM!

Her favorite quote is “Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts; put your vision to reality.”

Zemone seeks to live a life of wholehearted dedication to whatever she pursues and will like to invite the general public to witness five talented young ladies vie for the title Miss Back To Roots 2011.
