The theme, ‘culturally yours’, as a means of motivating each participating territory to present their country’s finest and most creative attributes and talents in the visual and performing arts. As a Caribbean rich in history, folklore and culture, we have so much to offer and showcase to the world. This pageant will serve as that platform where women of the region and exhibit these strong characteristics to their regional counterparts and the world.
The Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant, now in its seventh (7th) year, has reached prominence and has now become a rival to other Caribbean pageants due largely to the increased number of participating countries, unsurpassed beauty, intelligence and grace of the delegates, and overwhelming professionalism of the production itself.
The pageant, which will be staged in two parts this year, will be a first for the island of Nevis. The preliminary competition of the pageant, scheduled for Friday 27th July will feature The Bikini and Whole Piece Swimwear Segment. This will be held at Carnival City St. Kitts. During the preliminary show, the‘Exotic Caribbean Beauties’ will parade in creatively styled swimsuits of their choice that shows of their physical fitness and enhances their personalities.
And, on Saturday 28th July, Nevis will come alive with the finals of the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant. The Caribbean Beauties will compete in for additional segments…Cultural Wear, Performing Talent, Evening Wear and Interview. These cultural ambassadors will put their best foot forward as they endeavour to represent their country and themselves to the highest degree while showcasing the cultural elements that make each of their territories unique to the archipelago of islands.
Pageant Director Randy Jeffers promises that this year’s pageant will be a truly unforgettable event as it will also feature relational entertainers bringing a cultural flair to the pageant. He also expressed his profound gratitude to all the benefactors of last year’s production.
The 2012, Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant entitled Culturally yours, will undoubtedly bring the sights and sounds to the doorstep of St. Kitts and Nevis and therefore out will her worth the wait! Miss St. Lucia, Oneka Mckoy is the reigning Miss Caribbean Culture Queen.
