Miss Queeley was able to outnumber her fellow contestants at the 2011 First Citizens Group Miss Carival which was held in St Vincent and the Grenadines, winning three of the four judged segments. She was recently crowned 2011 Miss Jaycees Caribbean Queen at the pageant which took place in Antigua and Barbuda, there Iantavian was adjudged winner of all the categories after the judges points were tallied.
The commentators at both were commending Miss Queeley for her outstanding performances in all categories, some were even heard handpicking before the official results.
In speaking with Miss Queeley she explained that she has her fingers crossed to represent the federation at either Miss Universe and or Miss World but the necessary persons would have to be contacted.
“We do have the Miss World franchise and I guess I would have to contact the holder (of the Franchise)” she said “ As for Miss Universe we do not have the franchise, but of course I would keep my fingers crossed because I would like to make it to that platform; that is ultimate when it comes to pageants”
To make this possible she added that she already has the right persons behind her, the kind of support anyone would love to have. She only sees financial support as a problem.
The newly crowned Miss Jaycees Caribbean Queen stated that she was overwhelmed and became a bit teary-eyed when they announced that she had won the pageant, even though she was nervous on the night of the show.
Her nervousness she said came while she was awaiting the results hoping that she had done well as she competed with fifteen other Caribbean Beauties.
Miss Fatisha Imo represented the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis at the Miss World Pageant which was held in China in 2010.
