On Monday 30th January from 9:00am to 12:00pm, a power outage will take place in the area of New Road & St. Peters for a switchgear inspection, while from 2:00pm to 4:00pm the Industrial Site and Bird Rock would be without electricity for the same reason. 

On Tuesday, 31st January a series of maintenance work will commence, starting with Phillips’ Village. Then on Wednesday work will be done in Old Road Village, Thursday Cleverly Hill Sandy Point and maintenance work will conclude on Friday at Old Road, once again.

All areas in which maintenance work is being done will experience power outages from 8:30am to 4:00pm.  A SKELEC spokesman has stated that electricity may return without any prior warning and regrets any inconvenience, which these interruptions in electricity supply may cause.
