Officials at the St. Kitts Meteorological Services have indicated that Monday night will be cloudy to overcast, with scattered showers.
It is also their forecast that there is a chance for the outbreak of isolated thunderstorms.
There is also a prediction of more rain on Tuesday, with cloudy skies during the morning with scattered showers. Skies will be partly cloudy later in the day on Tuesday.
The tropical wave that is crossing the northeast Caribbean is still producing significant cloudiness over the Leeward Islands. The clouds are expected to spread to the British Virgin Islands later tonight and Tuesday.
Winds: SE at 9-12 mph overnight; 14-11 mph tomorrow. A few locally gusty spells are likely.
Seas: Moderate; swells 1.5-1.8m or 5-6ft. Small craft operators should exercise caution.
The heavy showers on Monday poured in all parts of St. Kitts, at times, causing residents to interrupt their daily activities, especially in the capital Basseterre.
Over on Nevis there is some concern about the weather affecting ongoing Culturama activities that have been scheduled for tonight.
