According to officials at the St. Kitts Meteorological Services at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, weather conditions are being severely affected by a Tropical Storm that has entered the area of the Leeward Islands.
These conditions will spread throughout the Leeward Islands on Saturday. The Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico will experience partly sunny skies today and increasing cloudiness tonight as the tropical wave moves further west.
Meanwhile, lingering moisture and instability from a tropical wave will trigger variably cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across Hispaniola.
Boat operators in St. Kitts and Nevis should continue to exercise caution with seas moderate-rough with waves 1.8m / 6ft.
Winds are expected to be ENE – E at 12 – 18kts gusting higher in showers.
The Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis will see widely scattered showers. Tonight skies will become increasingly cloudy with scattered showers. Some of the showers will be moderate to heavy at times and accompanied by isolated thunderstorms.
