The first presentations were done in Nevis on 19th December to three elderly persons namely, Liza Liburd of Hamilton Estate, Murthlyn Liburd of Cole Hill, and Gwendolyn Clarke of Bath Village.
The presentations were done by Mr. Steve Saunders, Sales & Marketing Officer and Mrs. Melba Turner Customer Service Representative of NAGICO Insurances in St. Kitts; Mr. Laurenn Barry Office Manager Nevis, and Mrs. Alecia Freeman, Customer Service Representative in Nevis.
“NAGICO Insurances is celebrating thirty years this year. We thought it is a wonderful idea to share our success with the elderly and needy folks of the federation and at the same time fulfill our corporate responsibility to the communities we serve,” said Saunders.
“We did similar presentations earlier this year and seeing that we are now celebrating Christmas, we believe that it is a good time to spread some Christmas cheer. We are therefore giving our senior citizens a food hamper which contains about three months supply of food items and other necessities,” Saunders added.
Presentations in St. Kitts were done the following day (20 December) The five recipients were Claudina Riley of New Road, Raymond Dias of Boyds Village, Daniel Farrell of Old Road, Edgar Challenger of Parsons, and Noami Wattley of Cayon.
