NAGICO SUPER50 FINAL TICKETS GOING FAST

From the start of the tournament, Maniam and other TTCB officials were expecting small crowds but were confident ticket sales would pick up as the competition progressed.

Business started to pick up on Thursday afternoon after hosts T&T secured their place in the final with an easy seven-wicket win over Jamaica in the first semi-final.

Maniam said that after the semi, instead of going home, people started lining up at the Oval ticket office to purchase tickets for the final, which cost $50. He said there were long lines.

Maniam estimated that around 3,500 tickets, of approximately 6,500 for the final, have already been sold. He expects the rest to be sold out by today.

Maniam advised the public that no glass bottles would be allowed in the Oval for the final and that only 12 inch by 12 inch or smaller coolers will be allowed into the venue.
