Kittitian Junika Berry secured victory from a field of 10 contestants on Saturday night, 29th December, at the Sugar Mill, Warner Park; site of this year’s carnival shows.
However, it was a very small margin of victory for Berry, who only managed to get the judges nod by some 11 points, ahead of the other leading contender.
After five appearances, the Kittitian contestant amassed a total of 785 points to defeat her nearest rival, Miss UVI, in First Runner-up position on 774 points. The Second Runner up spot went to Miss Anguilla, who scored 744.5 points.
