Crooke and Phillip were the main organizers of a number of international sporting events hosted in the Federation which included, the TriStar Nevis International Triathlon, The Star Mile Nevis to St. Kitts Cross Channel Swim, the SKN Independence Tour Cycling Race and the recently announced Nevis Half Marathon.
Crooke and Phillip are both proprietors of the newly introduced Event SKN, an entity that creates, organizes, promotes and hosts sporting events. They are passionate about Sport Tourism and plan to have even more success in attracting sports tourists to the Federation through the operations of Event SKN.
Elsewhere on the evening of 28th November the Nevis division of the St. Kitts Nevis Hotel & Tourism Association presented awards to nominees in ten categories. The awards were presented at a cocktail reception held at the Golden Rock Inn. Vice President of the HTA, Jamie Holmes hosted and remarks were made by Deputy Premier, Honorable Hensley Daniel, and Nick Menon, President of the HTA.

Hotel & Tourism Supervisor of the Year, Dan Perkins of Nisbet Plantation Beach Club.
