New Country Manager for CIBC FirstCaribbean St Kitts and Nevis

As Country Manager and Head of Corporate, Retail and Operations, Ms James will report directly to Mr. Michael Mansoor, Executive Chairman, CIBC FirstCaribbean.
Ms James, who has been employed with the organization since 2001 is Antiguan and brings to the leadership of the St Kitts and Nevis business her experience in the
banking industry particularly in the areas of personal and corporate lending, relationship management and human resources. She has worked in a number of CIBC FirstCaribbean locations including St. Kitts and Nevis, the Bahamas, Antigua and most recently Barbados.

Commenting about her appointment, Ms James says that her banking career started eleven years ago, in St. Kitts and Nevis where she was embraced by staff, clients and the community; and that as such the island has always held a special place in her heart.

Ms James said “I am happy and excited to be back and honoured to be leading the charge as we demonstrate to the community that CIBC FirstCaribbean is here For What Matters. We look forward to serving you, the general public, and we are excited to offer creative and innovative solutions for all your needs, as we work towards building long-lasting relationships.”

The new Country Manager will continue to lead the adoption of the new CIBC FirstCaribbean brand elements, which began in June 2011. The public would have noted the new CIBC FirstCaribbean look, on its buildings in Basseterre and Charlestown and the new uniforms being worn by staff. Internally, the bank is also displaying the revised CIBC FirstCaribbean logo and colours.

The public is invited to visit the bank to view the new look and to see the displays mounted in the banking hall on Hurricane Awareness, exciting offers on loans for Back to School and Vacation which have been created by staff to heighten awareness of the products which the bank provides to assist in these areas.
