According to an official at Delise Walwyn agent for a number of the ships, the new season official kicks off on Saturday 15th October, with the visit of the Emerald Princess.
The 3,100-passenger capacity Emerald Princess makes the first of 11 calls for the season on October 15th. The 2,680-passenger capacity Carnival Miracle berths on October 23rd and has a total of 13 scheduled calls.
Cruise ships scheduled to call during the official cruise ship season which runs from October 2011 to May 2012 include the 3,114-passenger capacity Adventure of the Seas (10 calls); 3,597-passenger capacity, Azura (7 calls); 2,850-passeoger capacity, Celebrity Eclipse (10 calls); 2,850-passenger capacity Celebrity Equinox (6 calls); 2,450-passenger capacity Celebrity Summit (12 calls) and the 2,850-passenger capacity, Celebrity Silhouette (6 calls).
Port Zante will also host the 2,850-passenger capacity Celebrity Solstice (4 calls); the 3,840-passenger capacity Explorer of the Seas (6 calls); the 1,627-passenger capacity Maasdam and the 2,281-passenger capacity, Mein Schiff 2 (10 calls).
Royal Caribbean’s 3,840-passenger capacity Navigator of the Seas makes 8 calls and the 2,224-passenger capacity Norwegian Dawn will make 16 calls.
The 1,611-passenger capacity Thomson Dream will make 11 calls, and the 3,100-passenger capacity Ventura (7 calls).
Other ships making calls are the Windsurf, Wind Spirit and the Westerdam. Star clipper, Silver Whisper, Silver Spirit, Silver Cloud, Seabourn Quest, Seabourn Spirit, Silver Cloud, Royal Clipper, Oriana, Oceana, Le Levant; Braemar and Black Watch.
