An electric and energetic atmosphere hit Warner Park on Wednesday as fans from both team decorated the venue with yellow and red and danced to the music of the iron band.
With both teams seemingly equal in strength and skill, little action took place early in the first half.

Conaree had a few chances but they however failed to capitalize on them so the Newtown team went into half time with a slender advantage.
Going into the second half the now confident Newtown was fully in control and forcing Conaree into making a number of mistakes, with one eventually leading to a goal, when a poor goal kick from the Conaree tea, resulted in a sensational goal being scored by Shashi Isaac in the 57th minute.
Yellow cards were shown to Mudassa Howe (Conaree) in the 52nd minute, Errol O’Loughlin (Conaree) in the 73rd minute, Alexis ‘Lecky” Saddler (Newtown)in the 84th minute and Shashi Isaac (Newtown) in the 85th minute.
