Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 31, 2018 (MyVueNews.com) – The family of the teenage boy killed earlier this week in St. Kitts is still searching for answers to explain why their son had to be taken at the hands of criminals.
It was on Wednesday, 30th May, 2018, at around 7:55pm when word spread that 2 youngsters had been shot in Taylor’s Village, Basseterre.
As the dust cleared it was discovered that 17 year old juvenile had been killed.
According to police reports, in addition to the death, two others were injured.
The report indicated that the 17-year-old male juvenile was inside his residence along with two (2) other persons.
On the outside of the premises were Antonia Lestrade (male, 19 years old) and a 15-year-old male juvenile.
Police say, four (4) masked assailants entered the premises and one (1) of them began shooting.
The 17-year-old juvenile exited the house and received gunshot injuries about the body, which left him fatally wounded. The 15-year-old juvenile also sustained gunshot injuries about the body and Lestrade received a gunshot to his left elbow.
The police report added, “Both Lestrade and the 15-year-old juvenile were transported to the J.N.F. Hospital by the Emergency Medical Service. Lestrade is warded in a stable condition, while the juvenile underwent Emergency Surgery and is warded at the Intensive Care Unit in a serious, but stable condition.”
