According to reports that started reaching MiyVue.com just before 6:00am Friday, the popular Rastafarian was said to have been shot many times at various parts of the body, eventually dying of his wounds after being transported to the island’s main hospital, (JN France), located less than a minute’s drive from his home.

At present no motive or other details surrounding the homicide have been made known.

It was only two years ago in 2009 that Heath returned to St. Kitts after serving a short sentence in the United States, following many years of attempts by US authorities to have him and others, extradited for trial on conspiracy charges, related to drug shipments to that country.

Since his return however, Zambo has kept a rather low profile, though still remaining involved in various aspects of community life, especially sport, where he was known to be a strong supporter and benefactor.

Not much has been revealed by police sources on the matter and when they do more details will be provided.
