The media event is scheduled for National Radio, ZIZ, and is expected to provide some insight into the rights and concerns of consumers.
The discussion is just the latest of the activities that were launched last Saturday, 10th March, 2012, in a media address by the Minister responsible for Consumer Affairs, Dr. Timothy Harris.
The week of activities continued on Sunday with a Church Service, at the Tabernacle Church of Nazarene. On Monday, officials of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, along with representatives of Scotia Bank, Digicel, National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), and the St Kitts Credit Union appeared on local radio to address various consumer related issues.
Events are continuing on Friday 16th March with an event scheduled for the Independence Square in Basseterre, where according to one official, a number of companies are expected to operate display booths to interact with the public.
