Patrice Nisbett points to achievements for the people

In an 11-paragraph letter, Nisbett said that over the years he has strived to make it his duty to represent the interest of the people and their needs in the Federal Cabinet.

“Over the past years, I have strived to make it my sole responsibility to represent you, your interests, your goals, your aspirations and your dreams for your children, grand children and indeed the future of Nevis, Queen City, the land that we all love so dearly,” Nisbett said

The Nevis Reformation Party member noted that through programs initiated by the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, he has been able to represent the people of Nevis. He pointed to the One-to-One laptop program as one of the areas.

“These are programs that you are all aware of: the One-to-One laptop program, Long Service Gratuity, Increased Minimum Wage, The PEP and the many other SIDF-sponsored programs like REACH, FREESH, WISE etc,” he explained.

Further, he noted that through the implementation of those programmes, Nevis has been able to grow and reached for greater opportunities adding that there are better educational opportunities, advancement in tourism and a developmental plan that will see rewards in the future.

“As a Nevisian, I am humbled by the opportunities that this little island has afforded me, and I am bound by duty and responsibility to do my utmost best in representing you and your interest always.

“I am proud to be called a Nevisian, and I am extremely proud to be your NRP representative in the federal parliament,” Nisbett said.

The NRP incumbent in constituency #11 will face challenge from the Concerned Citizens Movement Candidate Alexis Jeffers. The NRP has entered a coalition arrangement with the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party.
