Just a day prior to giving birth, the singer said, she was ready to meet her baby, Tweeting a message on Wednesday night about it being a good time for new beginnings under an auspicious astrological sky.

Pink’s pregnancy was first confirmed, after she was spotted sporting a baby bump and received a congratulatory Tweet from a friend on the social networking site.

Since confirmation, the singer made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres talk show and said “I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before,” the singer explained.

“I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms,” she wrote on her Web site to accompany the release of her video for her single, “And though I will prepare this little munchkin for a sometimes cruel world, I will also equip this kid to see all the beauty in it as well.”
