St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas in a letter to his Dominican counterpart, Roosevelt Skerritt to mark his country’s 33rdAnniversary of Independence expressed congratulations on behalf of the Government and the People of the twin-island Federation.
“It is my heartfelt wish that The Commonwealth of Dominica and by extension its people will enjoy the many commemorative activities surrounding this year’s Independence celebrations and reflect on the prestigious heritage of their country,” said Prime Minister Douglas.
The St. Kitts and Nevis leader hoped that “God’s many blessings maintain sway over all future national endeavours.”
The Commonwealth of Dominica became an independent nation on November 3rd 1978.
