Dr. Denzil Douglas agreed to speak at the event after being invited to do so by the Director-General, Dr. Mohan Kaul. Douglas will speak on the topic:”Investing in the Caribbean,” on Wednesday 26th October, at the Burswood Convention Centre.
He is amongst 100 renowned speakers and panellists and 1200 delegates to attend the October 25th to 27th forum, the premier business event in the Commonwealth, bringing together Heads of Government, Ministers and top business leaders from around the world.
Prime Minister Douglas has also been invited to participate in the roundtable by Australia’s Prime Minister Mrs. Julia Gillard with selected Heads of Government and Business leaders.
The CBF is co-organised by the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC), the Australian Government and Government of Western Australia and forms part of the overall Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which will run from October 28th to 30th.
“It provides a valuable opportunity for high level dialogue on trade and investment between business and government leaders from the Commonwealth and beyond,” said Dr. Kaul.
