In a message sent to the St. Lucian Government by St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister, Dr. Denzil Douglas, he expressed a hope for mutual friendship which is based on a shared heritage and commitment to freedom, peace and the rule of law, which he said would continue to grow and blossom.

“As we commemorate your nation’s freedom from colonial rule, we continue to admire your thirty five years of prosperity,” said the Prime Minister, in the message sent to his St. Lucia counterpart, Dr. Kenny Anthony.

Dr. Douglas told Dr. Anthony that as partners in this great project that we call the OECS, “we must continue to highlight the benefits that all citizens can achieve through our regional framework.”
